ADMSHINE COLD-APPLIED COATING APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

AdmShine coating is not a ceramic Nano coating or a polishing product.
It is a self-leveling coating that:

  • Optically fills minor scratches and holograms.
  • Enhances color depth and provides a high-gloss finish.
  • Creates a protective film over the clear coat and paint surface.
  • Once fully cured, this film protects the vehicle's original clear coat from wear.

To achieve the best possible results, it is recommended to follow the application instructions below.

1. Surface assessment

Before applying the product, carefully assess the condition of the panel. The surface must be clean, dry, and degreased, free of wax, oils, and other residues.

2. Surface preparation

Before use, thoroughly degrease the surface with the included AdmShine cleaner and a microfiber cloth. Proper surface preparation is one of the most important factors affecting the final result. Poor surface preparation is the most common cause of an unsatisfactory result.

3. Applicator preparation

Choose one side of the applicator to use for applying the product. Evenly saturate the applicator surface with the cold-applied coating. The applicator side must be completely saturated, with no dry areas. Proper and even saturation of the applicator is essential for achieving a good result. Reapply product every 2–4 passes.

4. Product application

Start applying the product from one edge of the panel and slowly work toward the opposite end. Apply the product in even, overlapping passes, maintaining consistent pressure on the applicator and ensuring even coverage across the entire surface.

Important: try not to return to areas that have already been coated or reapply product to them. This can be done for up to 8 seconds, while the product has not yet leveled out and started to cure.

5. Self-leveling process

After the surface has been coated, the product begins to level itself. Depending on the ambient temperature and conditions, this process usually takes between 2 and 10 minutes.

6. Drying and protection

After application, the vehicle must be kept in a dry environment for at least 48 hours. During this period, it is recommended to avoid rain, washing, high humidity, and any other contact with water.

Moisture during the curing process may cause white or matte spots.

Additional recommendations

  • Do not use the product in direct sunlight or on a heated surface.
  • Recommended working temperature: +10 °C to +25 °C.
  • Before coating the entire panel, it is recommended to perform a test application on a small, less visible area.
  • Keep out of reach of children.

Do not use on:

  • Wrapped surfaces (Wrap film)
  • PPF protective film
  • Surfaces with existing protection (wax, ceramic coatings, etc.)
  • Glass
  • Carbon fiber
  • Interior surfaces

Result

After fully curing, you will achieve:

  • Deeper, richer color.
  • Increased gloss.
  • Optically concealed minor scratches and holograms.

Important to understand
AdmShine coating

  • Restores and enhances the vehicle's appearance.
  • Optically fills minor scratches.
  • Does not repair deep scratches.
  • Does not restore damaged paint or clear coat.

How to remove AdmShine coating

If you want to remove the product:

Thoroughly spray the surface with AdmShine cleaner and wipe it with a microfiber cloth. The less time that has passed since application, the easier the product will be to remove.

After 24 hours, the protective film that has formed can be removed by polishing.

  • During the first few days, light polishing is usually sufficient.
  • If the coating has fully cured, more intensive polishing may be required.

Common mistakes

❌ Too little product → streaks may appear.

❌ Too much pressure → uneven coverage and streaks.

❌ Application in cold conditions → poor leveling and a rainbow effect.

❌ Application in high temperatures → the product dries too quickly and streaks form.

❌ Improperly prepared surface → reduced coating durability.

❌ Moisture during curing → white spots may appear.
